Life Groups are a vital expression of church life at the Vineyard. Our church structure is different from the traditional pastorally centered church whereby we consider the life group leaders and members as the first line of pastoral care. We take our cue from Ephesians 4:11-12 that apostles, evangelists, preachers, pastors, and teachers were given to the church for the “perfecting and full equipping of the saints, that they should do the work of ministering toward building up Christ’s body (the church).” (Amplified version)
We believe that meeting in the life group format complements the larger celebration services and helps to facilitate genuine community, committed discipleship, and effective ministry thereby fulfilling the command of Jesus to go into the world and make disciples.
How do you get involved with Life Group Ministry at the Vineyard? Group listings will be available below one month in advance. If you find one that interests you give the facilitator a call to let them know you are interested or if you aren’t sure what might be a good match for you, call the office (207.854.8339) and they will be happy to help with your search.

"We-Ologians" is purposed for the every day person to gain confidence in their understanding of God and the essential doctrines of our Christian faith. It matters not how long you have been a believer, what your level of scriptural understanding is, or how consistent and meaningful your prayer life is, "We-Ologians" is designed to shake off the fear and mystery of studying and knowing the God we worship. It's intention is to help everyone understand in a reasonable way how God has revealed Himself over time, becoming familiar with how the evidence of God comes together as a "meaningful whole". "We-Ologians" seeks to help any Christian draw out the truths of God and the Christian faith from the scriptures in an orderly, reasonable and unintimidating way. Here are some of the truths we will be undertaking:
Pneumatology - Who is the Holy Spirit?
Soteriology - How are we saved?
Ecclesiology - What is the Church?
Eschatology - The Study of "Last Things"
