How do we do it?
The Alpha Course runs over a period of ten weeks. It is generally held in the evening, at the host’s home, although daytime courses are also available from time to time. Each evening begins with a meal that is shared together. The subject for the evening’s discussion is introduced in a video-taped talk, lasting about 45 minutes. Finally, there is a time of discussion over dessert and coffee. Part way through the course, there is an opportunity to spend a relaxing day away at which one of the course subjects is explored in more detail.
